About Us
We’re Keith and Lauren Baker, and we created this space to share our family’s journey — one shaped by challenge, resilience, and above all, love.
At the heart of it all is our deep gratitude for the friends and family who have surrounded us with unwavering support. Through the highest highs and the most difficult lows, your texts, visits, meals, childcare, check-ins, and kind gestures have carried us. We’ve never felt alone — and that’s a gift we’ll never take for granted.
Our daughter Brinley was born in September 2024 and was later diagnosed with SOX2 disorder, a rare genetic condition that affects her vision, hearing, and development. She is our joy and our teacher — helping us see the world through a different lens and celebrate progress in every form.
In early 2025, Keith was diagnosed with testicular cancer and began chemotherapy shortly after. Facing two major medical journeys at the same time has been overwhelming at moments, but it has also revealed the depth of love and strength in our circle.
We feel lucky to live in Healdsburg, California, a town that has become home to us and where we’ve found kindness and connection. We are also incredibly thankful for Courtney, Brinley’s nanny, who has become a vital part of our day-to-day life and someone we trust deeply.
This site is a space to keep you — our people — updated, but more than that, it’s a reflection of our gratitude. We wouldn’t be standing where we are without you.
